1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the website cloudister.net and to the application “rclone” operated by the owner of the domain cloudister.net (“we”, “the operator”). The application is a personal-use OAuth client that lets the operator's own computers synchronize files with the operator's own Google Drive account.

2. What information is accessed

When the operator authorizes the application, Google grants OAuth tokens with the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive. This allows the application to:

• list files and folders in the authorized Google Drive account;
• download files from that account to the operator's own machines;
• upload or update files in that account as part of backups.

3. What information is collected and stored

• No data is collected by this website. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, no contact forms.
• No user data is stored on any server operated by us. OAuth tokens are stored locally, encrypted at rest where the operating system provides it, on the operator's own machines only.
• No data is shared with third parties. No data is sold, rented, or transferred.

4. Scope of access

Access is restricted to the Google account(s) explicitly authorized by the operator. The application does not access any other user's data, and there are no other end users: the app is published for personal, single-operator use.

5. Data retention and deletion

OAuth tokens persist until revoked. Revoking access in your Google Account permissions page immediately ends all access; locally stored tokens in the local configuration are deleted with it. Downloaded backups remain on the operator's own storage under their sole control.

6. Third-party services

Authentication is performed by Google LLC under Google's Privacy Policy. We use no other third-party processors.
